About Us

Community Safety Professionals Ltd is a brand-new dynamic company evolved from years of practical experience and education and includes former Home Office ASB advisors on our staff. We are dedicated to qualifying you in  the skills required to effectively and confidently address crime and disorder challenges. These are new and changing times for ASB professionals – new tools and powers, the introduction of a ‘harm centred approach to ASB’, the forthcoming Police and Crime Commissioners – all in tandem with big budget cuts and reduced resources in many areas will require competent skills and knowledge. If you are a housing landlord, local authority, police service, fire service, ambulance service, or any Community Safety Partner you may consider you will benefit from our educational courses, strategic briefings or advisory service.

Our mission statement is “Working for a safer life” and we have built on our background of practical experience and education in dealing with antisocial behaviour to bring you evolved courses that are entirely fit for purpose to enable more effective working and provide a widely recognised qualification to build a safer environment for the communities you serve.
Our qualifications are all Edexcel provided BTEC awards; they are modular and you will have the choice of which modules to elect. This is designed to suit your working requirements and build towards your final qualification. However all modules are ‘stand-alone’ and can be taken separately without leading to a BTEC qualification. If on the BTEC programme you will receive a BTEC certificate at the completion of each stage.

You will have four years from enrolment to complete the programme and will only be requested to pay for each module as you progress. Each module comes at the highly competitive price of £195 or £175 without the qualification. Block booking discounts will apply. You will need to take four modules to complete the course and receive the generic award.

Our lecturers are acknowledged and experienced experts in their own subjects and come from academic, expert advisorary and practical backgrounds.  We have substantial experience in delivering related qualifications in the crime and disorder arena and have built on our experience to provide better and more user friendly qualifications than are currently available elsewhere.
Community Safety Professionals will work across the criminal justice system with you to improve the support for victims and witnesses victims of anti-social behaviour and our very ‘victim centred’ approach with registered witness intermediary advice and guidance supports that aim.
You will be equipped to resolve issues correctly, apply the right legislation, inform the public appropriately of the measures you are taking and work with local and national victims groups to make sure the voice of victims is fed-back. This should assist you to develop and implement policies that impact directly on crime and disorder.

As part of the course you will become fully competent in and versed in the legislation to apply, techniques to employ and code of practice for victims of crime. This will provide a guarantee to your community and its victims of crime that the level of service they are entitled to is being delivered by you. You can expect to reap an increase in community confidence and satisfaction with your hard work as a result of taking this qualification and become more employable in the current labour market.
